About The Chef
Since she was a little girl, Chef Yolanda has always had a passion to create delicious meals in the kitchen with her mother and two
siblings. Her mother was always working so it was her job to have dinner on the table by the time she got home. They didn't have
much, and were forced to create delicious meals for the family with what they had.
Chef Yolanda still abides by those virtues today and wants to bring her multi-cultural mix of deliciously home cooked meals to your
kitchen table, so you don't have to miss out on family time or "you" time with friends.
After obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Social Science at New York University, Yolanda went on to pursue her culinary passion
professionally.
Chef Yolanda Padilla is ProChef Certified by the Culinary Institute of America, and a Certified Culinarian through the American
Culinary Federation.
She graduated with honors from the Institute of Culinary Education (formerly Peter Kump's New York Cooking School), worked in the
kitchen of a well known 3 star classical French restaurant and has assisted acclaimed chefs such as Marcus Samuelsson, Dan
Silverman and Mario Batali.
She is also a Culinary Inspirations Certified Instructor and has catered, planned and prepared countless client dinner parties and in
home cooking classes.
